SNSD (Girls’ Generation) – Into The New World
The famed SM girl group debuted with a stellar number “Into

The lyrics are also beautiful and withstand the test of time well, with many listeners coming back to appreciate the song years later.

[+3300] It’s really nice to listen to a song that’s fully in Korean
[+2300] Their young faces were not looking to catch the camera well, they were looking nervous and running to show their hard practiced skills while looking only to the front, it’s really pretty.
[+1800] They are crazy good at performing live. How many girl groups can go full live with such an intense choreography?
[+991] Wow, this is awesome. I have to listen to this song every time I have thoughts of giving up on something…Did I try hard enough?
[+966] The song sounds polished even when you listen to it now… This is the best girl group song by my standards…Listening to ITNW makes gives me a mushy and beguiling feeling somehow..
[+627] Those who tried to sing this song at the karaoke would know, but (the pitch is) really high keke, they are really good live, this song is a masterpiece..
[+367] I really want to go back to that time. The stage backdrop is small compared to the current ones, the video quality from the camera back then, the make up and costumes that are young looking and the fans were showing support with the placards they made on their own…I really miss the feeling from that time.
SNSD (Girls’ Generation) – GEE
SNSD later released Gee in early 2009, which gave them multiple music show wins and pushed them to even greater popularity, along with a trend for colorful skinny jeans.
Wonder Girls - Irony
Wonder Girls from JYP debuted with a girl crush concept with “Irony”. This track was also the only single that former member Hyuna had participated in before leaving the agency.
KARA – Break it
KARA first debuted as a 4-member group from DSP, with former
member Sunghee as a main vocalist. DSP has previously managed the wildly successful group Fin.K.L. where Lee Hyori and Sung Yuri started their careers.
Their debut track "Break it" showed case their strong live vocals in live performances.

[+227] Kim Sung Hee was ranked no.1 for third gen groups (Note: Once upon a time, generations was defined differently from 2022). If Ms Kim Sung Hee was to be active until today, you might have heard people saying Ock Joo-Hyun is second…
[+207] Kim Sung Hee was a real pity.. She stood out the most.. Her visuals and skills were exceptional and she could have even made it as a solo TT
[+140] KARA’s main vocal back then was from a totally different league….
[+122] Kim Sung Hee was super good and in a different league. Park Gyuri, Han Seung Yeon and Nicole were all able to digest the live well…? There was really only minimal chorus at that time and it was completely live.
[+102] Kim Sung Hee was only in high school back then but she was awesome
[+82] Kim Sung Hee T_T She was really really good at singing
[+54] Park Gyuri, Han Seung Yeon, Nicole and Kim Sung Hee, KARA was a group that was focused on talents…
KARA – Rock U, Mister
After Sunghee left the group, 2 new members were added to the lineup (Hara and Jiyoung). The 5 member KARA released songs with a cute concept such as “Honey” and “Rock U”.
They later released one of their representative songs, “Mister”, in 2009. The Japanese
version was released as their debut song in Japan and paved the way for their foray into the Japanese market, marking the start of one of the most successful Japanese career for a K-pop girl group ever.
